We play tonight, Friday, and Sunday, not Saturday.

I would play Allen tonight and Hutton to get him a game on Friday against Colorado. Oh well. Hutton does need to get in a game to give Allen a breather and keep him sharp.

Were you using the TSN site? They're not always accurate, ESPN is actually better for scores and stats.

If the Wild lose to the sens tonight in regulation, it opens the door for a small possibility of the Blues being able to catch the Wild. The back to back Nashville has this weekend (first vs Wild then vs the Blues) gives another opportunity to make up 2 points potentially.

If the Blues won the game in hand from tonight, that would only put them 2 down with the Wild playing the Avs twice, the Coyotes and the Hurricanes.

It's not very likely but a regulation loss tonight at least opens the door a little.

6 points in 6 games is certainly in the realm of possibility. Put a low percentage on it, but it will still be fun to watch, especially if the Wild don't create that 8 point gap tonight.

In the last 10 games the Wild are averaging 0.4ppg, the Blues are at 1.7ppg. At that rate the Wild end up with ~98.4 points, Blues with ~100.2.

The comeback against Washington might be a sign that the Wild are getting back on track though.

To me it really doesn't matter who we face or what seed we are. The Wild (Dubnyk) have been tough for us before, the Hawks are the Hawks, and then the Pacific???? That's all a toss up at the moment.

Blues just need to keep winning and keep playing their game. Hopefully this stretch of playing non-playoff teams will not hurt us. Sure we can beat the teams we should, but would you guys rather have us playing playoff type hockey already? Sunday is going to be a BIG test.

I've been watching this as well. It's more really about if the Wild can get their game back on track. As long as the Blues take care of their own business, they'll get that third spot in the division and face the Wild regardless.

When two teams are this close, i'd prefer to open on the road anyway. I think these series benefit the road teams myself. I've never been a big proponent of home ice advantages.

They have to avoid Chicago in my mind. I don't believe they could beat them in a playoff series. i thought the same thing last year and they proved me wrong.

I also wouldn't be afraid of facing any of the teams in the other division, they all seem on par with the Blues or close to it.

I just hate those game 'cause they affect my sleepy time. I needs me beauty sleep.

Doesn't really matter to me.

Everyone in the West plays these teams. We just got them late in the season and they faced them earlier. We are taking care of business beating the teams we should. Nothing wrong with that.

And part of this really good play includes beating some good teams as well.

That's enough out of you.

Have you bought any new sweaters lately? I'm curious to know who's career is about to circle the drain.

Carcus you are exactly correct. The lame narrative of an easy schedule fails to take into the other teams already played those same teams.

Which potential wild card team do you think has the best chance of upsetting CHI?

Really, I think we have the best chance of beating them. But I think we will get the 3rd spot and not the wild card.

I don't think either Calgary or Nashville will beat them. But if I had to pick one of them, I would say Calgary.

None of the above. But for grins, give me Calgary if Brian Elliot is scorching hot.

Agreed. With any luck, Tkachuk will lay Kane or Keith out with an elbow or something.

Win tonight and they are in

Win the next two and they are in decent shape to play Minnesota in Round 1

Keep playing the complete game and I like their chances in round 1

They only need a point to get in. They have the tie break with the kings clinched already.

Colorado has nothing to lose and everything to gain. Blues need to stay focused and be sharp. I think we all already know the Blues are in. It would take the Kings to win every game and the Blues to lose every game in regulation. Hopefully the Blues are looking for 3rd seed and stay focused every game, every second.

Jammer, any lineup changes expected tonight? Is Jaskin even on the road with the team? How about Stastny?

I heard last game Jaskin was the closest to coming back.

I really like the way the 2nd and 3rd lines have come together. It would almost be bad to have guys get healthy as every line right now is working their butts off and creating chances. I think the only change i WOULD make if all are healthy would be Stastny centering the 1st line and Steen on the wing on the 2nd or maybe even 3rd.

Schwartz's goal from Steen, from behind the net the other game, doesn't happen with Stastny on that line though. At least that's my thoughts.
